Copyright; Digital copyright
Copyright provides legal protection for creators of original works by granting them exclusive rights to use and distribute their content, including various forms of digital media such as text, visual arts, and audiovisual works. To copyright a digital asset, the work must fulfill legal requirements, including originality. As a digital creator, original digital works may be copyrighted, conferring exclusive rights to reproduce, distribute, publicly display/perform, and create derivative works (depending on jurisdiction). Illustrations, photographs, and graphic designs that users reproduce and exploit for commercial purposes without permission may be a violation of copyright law, provided exceptions don’t apply.
