What is Digital Assets?

A digital asset is any form of content or media that has been formatted into a binary source and includes the right to use it. This means that simply having a digital file does not make it an asset unless there is a legal right to use it. Digital assets can take various forms, including but not limited to product images, photography, logos, illustrations, animations, audio or video clips, presentations, office documents, spreadsheets, CAD files, 3D files, and more. As new technologies continue to evolve, the types of digital assets in use will continue to grow and expand.
